Publication of Irun's city street maps
The Department of Urbanism of the City Council of
Irun had very diverse geographic information and needed
to implement a solution that would make sharing, publishing
and/or using this existing cartographic information easier.
"The GeoServicios web platform perfectly adapted to the
institution's workflow, allowing an easy, fast and low-cost
solution to the publication and sharing of spatial information."
As a first stage and within a very short and tight deadline,
a street map application for Irun was launched, linked
to and integrated with the city's existing official website.
The ease with which this integration was accomplished
has allowed us to seriously consider and currently take-on
much more ambitious projects.

SatData required a geographic infrastructure for their AVL system
that would allow it to offer its customers a quality service,
capable of being rapidly implemented, scalable and compatible
with its existing systems.à

Apart from its capacity to re-scale in order to meet continuously
updated geographic coverage requirements, this web solution
also gives its clients access to their own cartographic
base, which is served to them through the Map Hosting
Service and all this is achieved without the need to perform
costly integration work.
